San Josenians, nakiisa sa City Day; Core Gateway, Kampeon!

Nagmistulang Hawaiian Party ang isinagawang parada kahapon mula sa City Social Circle hanggang PAG-ASA Sports Complex para sa pagdiriwang ng 48th San Jose City Day.

Kasama sa mga pumarada suot ang kanilang makulay na floral attire ang mga kawani ng Lokal na Pamahalaan, mga opisyal ng lungsod at iba’t ibang barangay, DepEd, samahan ng mga Senior Citizen, mga kabataan, NGOs, at iba pa.

Alinsunod sa tema ngayong taon na “Bagong San Jose, Magandang San Jose”, makikita ang kasiyahan ng mga San Josenians at malaking pagbabago sa lungsod sa naturang pagdiriwang.

Sinundan ang parada ng isang programa sa Pag-asa Sports Complex kung saan itinanghal na Best in Floral Attire sina Gng. Marisa Mina ng City Cooperative and Development Office at G. Orlando Medina ng City Legal Office.

Tampok sa programa ang kauna-unahang Inter-Collegiate Interpretative Dance Competition kung saan nagpagalingan ang College of Research and Technology (CRT), Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI), Institute of Enterprise Solutions (IES), Don Bosco Training Institute, MKS Advanced Training Institute at Provincial Manpower & Training Center (PMTC) sa pagpapakita ng “Buhay ni Apo Jose” o history ng San Jose City sa pamamagitan ng sayaw mula nang ito ay tinatawag pa lamang na Kabaritan hanggang sa kasalukuyan.

Dala ang halos 80 miyembro ng kanilang produksyon, iniuwi ng Core Gateway College ang kampeonato, habang nasungkit naman ng Don Bosco Training Center ang ikalawang pwesto, at pangatlo ang MKS Advanced Training Institute.

Ito’y ilan lamang sa maraming programa ni Punong Lungsod Kokoy Salvador para sa mga kabataan. Ang paghihikayat sa mga technical schools sa lungsod na makiisa sa mga ganitong programa ay alinsunod din sa adbokasiya ni Mayor Kokoy na pasikatin ang mga institusyong ito at makilala ang San Jose City bilang isa sa mga sentro ng technical training sa rehiyon.

Dumalo rin sa naturang pagdiriwang si Nueva Ecija 1st District Board Member Rommel Padilla na nagbigay hindi lamang ng mensahe at pagbati sa mga San Josenian kundi kilig din sa mga kababaihan na nakipag-selfie pa sa board member at aktor.
