Business Permits and Licenses Office
Business License and Mayor’s Permit shall be granted for a period of not more than one (1) year and shall expire on the thirty-first (31st) of December following the date of issuance unless revoked or surrendered earlier. The permit shall be renewed within the first twenty (20) days of January. It shall remain valid only upon renewal and payment of the corresponding fee. Business taxes are computed based on gross receipts/sales. Payments may be made annually, semi-annually, or quarterly. Renewal of licenses may take one (1) day depending on evaluation results and whether additional clearances are required.

Steps to Apply:
1. Application Processing (filing, verification, submission of requirements, assessment, proceed to CTO)
1.1 Issue application form and identify requirements
1.2 Receive and evaluate application
1.3 Approve/sign application and forward to assessment (CTO)
1.4 Encode taxes/fees and print Tax Order of Payment (TOP)
1.5 Approve/sign TOP
1.6 Issue application form with approved TOP
2. Payment of business taxes, fees, and Fire Safety Inspection Fee
2.1 Accept payment
2.2 Issue official receipt
2.3 Accept Fire Safety fee
2.4 Issue receipt and Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
2.5 Advise client to proceed to BPLO
3. Claim approved Business License, Mayor’s Permit, and Business Plate (including sanitary permit, barangay clearance if applicable)
